THE REAGAN PROJECT 2024 UPDATE: January 12, 2024
Today, The Reagan Project, Inc. purchased and delivered, 33 bags (44lbs bags) of dog food and 6 boxes of dog treats (10lbs boxes) to Special Pals Animal Shelter on Greenhouse Road.
Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks we will purchase and deliver the same amount of dog food and dog treats to Aggieland Humane Society in Bryan, TX. Aggieland Humane Society is where we rescued our Goodfella eleven years ago.
We are all dog lovers and are happy to be able to make these two donations. As a side note, there were people bringing blankets and beds for the animals stuck in the shelter during the cold weather that is coming.
Finally, we pray you all will be in a safe warm place.
THE REAGAN PROJECT 2024 UPDATE: January 8, 2024
The Reagan Project 2024 was a tremendous success. We filled 3,600 family food bags and Kids Meals, Inc has already started distributing the family food bags to the food insecure families. We would like to thank HEB, CyFair Fire Department, Bridgeland High School students, our volunteers and supporters. Without all of you we could not help those that truly need our help.
A special thanks to Lou and Kelly Barry, for stepping in to lead The Reagan Project 2024, Patty James with HEB, for coordinating the food and arranging for the HEB truck to deliver the food, Ray, the HEB driver, who drove from San Antonio to help us, and John Day, Kids Meals, Inc., Operations Manager.
We ask for your continued support as we fight childhood hunger in Harris and Montgomery Counties.

Our mission is to provide community hunger outreach in memory and honor of Reagan Allen.
As Christians we seek to provide food service to the underserved population, children under 5 years old, and showing encouragement through love and Christ Jesus. Our mission is to provide relief to the hungry, poor, distressed, underprivileged, and combat community deterioration.
“10 years ago we lost our younger son to suicide. After his death we formed a non-profit called The Reagan Project to honor his memory. To demonstrate our mission, we have provided gift cards to a HIV/AIDS ministry, fed the homeless, fed veterans, fed single parent families and we are partnering with Kids Meals, Inc., to end children under 5 years old not having food to eat. Currently there are more than 60,000 children under 5 years old in Harris and Montgomery counties living below the federal poverty level. Our volunteers and partners have a huge job ahead of us.
